Chorus LogoThe AHS Chorus, under the direction of Rich Hayes, is a 100 plus member group. There are three different choirs, Beginning Women's, Men's, and Advanced Women's. They have been chosen as an honor chorus for the last four years at the Disney Candlelight Processional. They consistantly receive high marks at MPA events and perform at various community events around Auburndale and Lakeland.

The Musical Theatre Group performs two shows annually. In the fall they perform a One Act Play and in the spring they perform a Broadway musical. Recent shows include: "Guys and Dolls", "Grease", "Annie Get Your Gun", and "Thoroughly Modern Millie".

New York Trip

The Auburndale High School Chorus and Musical Theatre Group will be performing in New York during our trip on March 12-15, 2011. The students will have a chance to see a musical on Broadway, tour Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, tour the Intrepid Air Space Museum and much more.
