Creative Writing Club
Creative writing, to me, is a way to freely express myself. In the world we live in, we have little control over our own lives, and this is why I enjoy writing so much. When I have a pen in my hand, it puts me in ultimate power; no one can tell me what to write or what not to write, other than myself. Writing not only allows you to branch out from this world, but it allows you to enter countless other worlds in the process. I’m free to make as many mistakes as I will, and they are all able to be corrected with a quick swipe of my pen; and this, is why I love writing so much. -Devon Mcbrayer, 11th grade
