Bloodhounds Win on Late TD Pass

AUBURNDALE | Auburdale scored on a 57-yard touchdown pass with 12 seconds left to rally to a 12-7 victory over South Lake on Friday.

Auburndale got the ball back after a South Lake punt with 23 seconds remaining in the game, and Bloodhound quarterback Jemarcus Davis hit Jeamia Crawford on a 57-yard touchdown pass up the sideline with 12 seconds left to play for the winning touchdown.

Auburndale trailed South Lake, 7-0, at the half but found some offensive rhythm late in the game to secure the win.

The first Bloodhound score came on a 10-yard pass from Davis to Doug Rogers. The point-after kick was blocked, however, leaving the Bloodhounds trailing 7-6.

Auburndale's Keshawn Maxwell carried the ball for more than 100 yards in the winning effort.
