Seniors – Yearbook Photos!

Seniors! It’s time to get your senior pictures taken! Leonard’s Studio will be on campus July 26 from 9am-3pm. Each of you should have received an appointment card in the mail by now. Once you receive the card, please call and confirm your time and pay your $15 seat fee. This will cover your yearbook head shot. Ladies, you also need to wear some type of spaghetti strap top, that you can pull off of your shoulders; Gentlemen, wear a light colored undershirt. Leonard’s will supply the drape for the ladies and the tux, shirt and bow tie for the gentlemen. Please bring a few different outfits, if you choose to upgrade your session.

If you do not receive an appointment card, please call the senior dept at 888-224-5045 to make your appointment. You MUST have your yearbook head shot taken with Leonard’s in order to be in the yearbook.

Army All-American Marching Band

Two of our very own have auditioned extensively and have earned an all-expenses paid spot in the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band and will perform during the bowl game’s halftime show in January 2018. Kenysha Johnson (trombone) and Brandon Collins (mellophone) have been selected to participate!  This is an incredible honor and usually only a few students are selected from each state!

Congratulations goes out to all the FFA members who participated with our FFA this past year –

At last night’s County FFA Federation Banquet the Auburndale Sr FFA Chapter was awarded 3rd place for the most actively successful chapter in Polk County.  This is a great honor since we are a much small chapter than many others in the county and that most other High school FFA chapter have multiple teachers.  Destiny Blackmon received her trophy for placing 3rd in the County FFA Star Green-hand (1st year ag/FFA member) contest and she received a $100 check from Mr. Donald Bronson for her achievement.  We are very proud of all the accomplishments of our FFA chapter.
