Yearbook Holiday sale!

Attention family and friends of Seniors: Are you looking for the perfect holiday gift for your Senior? For a limited time AHS Yearbook is having a Winter Holiday sale! You  can buy all 4 yearbooks for $150 or buy a specific yearbook for:

  •  Senior yearbook for $65.00
  • Junior yearbook for $45.00
  • Sophomore yearbook for $25.00
  • Freshman yearbook for $15.00

You can purchase yearbooks from Mrs. Cobb in room 501 and will immediately receive their Freshman, Sophomore and Junior yearbooks. The 2018-2019 yearbook will be distributed in May of 2019.

The winter testing window is December 4, 5, 7, and 10. If you have questions, talk to your math teacher.

Career Academies Window is Open!

The window to apply for career academies for the 2019-2020 school year is now open.  You can apply online by clicking here.  The deadline to apply is January 11, 2019.

FFA Places 2nd

Our FFA won 2nd place last night at the County FFA Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest that was held at Kathleen High School.

Our winning team was:

As a team they practiced hard each morning at 6:30am for the past couple of weeks and did a great job working together and performing their parts.

AP Seminar working hard!

Mrs. White’s AP Seminar classes began their study of the QUEST instructional foundation by looking at top images from 2017 and generating questions about them. These questions will become part of their research project for this unit.  AP Seminar is offered only at a handful of Polk high schools and we are one of them!
